I had stopped into Music to My Ear originally to get stuff for my Turntable. I got to talking with Greg (manager) and he talked about the different things that were happing in Northern Audio. I was interested in the way he described the set up they have now and he asked if I wanted a tour. I was honestly awestruck to how incredible the different rooms sounded. I really appreciated his insight and explanation on why the rooms sounded different, and how they achieved the sound that they had. I laughed a couple times from how real life the music sounded. If you’re in the market for truly high end, Northern Audio is spectacular. Thank you again Greg for the informative tour and how down to earth you were with it all. I appreciate the knowledge you gave me as well.

Greg was a great guy to work with. Unpretentious is a perfect description of Greg. He treats everyone with respect and isn't one of those people who judges. I've ran into those types of high-end audio dealers and Greg's not only a refreshing change, he's wicked smart about every piece of gear he carries. Anyone could be someone and THAT folks, is a very wise approach to take in any business. A kid today, who may be just dreaming about a system, could be the person who walks in 10 years later as someone in an entirely different situation. He'll also work with you anyway he can. Just a pleasure doing business with him. I give him my highest recommendation.

I visited Greg's shop in mid May. He gave me a full tour of his audio and video equipment and I was totally impressed. I never saw such a fabulous selection of albums as well and they sell CD's and cassettes. I would highly recommend visiting Northern Audio. You will be impressed!

I went into Northern Audio for the first time looking for a phono pre-amp. A very small purchase, especially for a place like this. This made no difference to Greg. He treated me like I was a regular spender and took his time to show me all kinds of stuff I had never seen or heard before, across various setups, rooms, and floors of the building. It was extremely helpful. The physical experience is absolutely essential with these things- some stores just can’t be replaced online. Go check it out!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Northern Audio and spending time with the owner, Greg. Greg spent hours with me explaining the ins and outs of speaker design, soundscape creation, and demystifying the what feels like millions of options for my home theatre and music listening setup. I would highly recommend anybody interested in building their audio setup to visit and buy from these guys- they seriously know their stuff and are willing to spend the time to explain it all. The showrooms are incredible and the staff are eager to help figure out what’s right for you
